Sludge and slurry pumps are specialised machines designed to pump high volumes of thick and abrasive waste fluids through a discharge pipe. This type of pump differs from other liquid pumps as they are made of stronger, abrasion resistant materials specifically designed to withstand liquids that are highly solid-laden, viscous or corrosive.
