Integrated Digital Camera

Hand-held Analyzer Type 2270 includes a compact digital camera integrated into the body of the instrument.

The convenience of the integrated camera allows the operator to enhance the measurement report with photographs of room layouts in building acoustics measurements, floor covering material used in sound insulation testing, residential apartment proximity to main roads for environmental noise assessment, or QC tested electric motors in vibration testing.

Two channel measurement capability

Hand-held Analyzer Type 2270 is designed with two independent measurement channels and the potential to measure broadband parameters with frequency content at two microphone locations simultaneously.

This capability has a number of benefits, not least the obvious one of being able to reduce the measurement time by half in applications requiring multi-point measurements.

The following measurement applications are examples of two-channel measurement capability offers significant advantages over single-channel:

Sound insulation performance of interior floors and walls
Outdoor noise propagation

Integrated LAN and USB interfaces

Fast and seamless transfer of measure-ment data, recor-dings and photo-graphs is an impor-tant consideration and one that is facilitated by not just one but two high speed interfaces available on Type 2270.

Either a USB or LAN interface can be used when the meter is located in close proximity to the PC. When the meter is remote, then the LAN interface allows data download from anywhere within the same LAN network.
