Marcelissen Carrot Cutter

The Carrot Cutter is developed to top and tail a variety of elongated vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, parsnips and sweet potatoes.

Your Carrot Cutter consists of a collecting chute with a flat transport belt that doubles as an inspection belt. On this transport belt your produce can be inspected and positioned correctly by an operator. The flight transport belt moves the produce through the first rotating knife which tops/tails the vegetables. Following this the vegetable travels along the belt and a second operator repositions the vegetable to be topped/tailed on the opposite end.

The machine can be used on a single side or both. It can also cut you produce into pieces whist top/tailing. Waste is immediately removed via a waste chute underneath the machine. Perfectly suited for elongated vegetables. Celery, carrots, sweet potatoes, spring onions, leek, corn cobs, and more. Can also be supplied with a single infeed vibrator. Easily adjustable knives allow easy change over of cut size depending on your produce. Capacity of up to 10,000kg an hour.
