TIN MICRODRUMS TO 5 LITRE

Tin cans up to 5 litre size are termed Microdrums. They are supplied plain internal and external, and are suitable for solvent based products. They are not suitable as long term containers for water based products.

Microdrums are mostly Dangerous Goods Approved as inner receptacles, as indicated by embossing or printing of the approval number on base or side. Some sizes come with POISON embossed on top.

If using child-resistant closure CR44, the recommended closing torque is 4.0-5.4Nm(3-4 Ftlb), and the packer and distributor of the finished product must ensure that the product is handled in such a way as to preserve the Child Resistant properties of the closure.
