Safety Shutdown Valve (SSV) The SSV is a general safety valve, activated by an Analogue Switch to open or close when a preset current is reached. The SSV does not require an external actuator and powered by the line-fluid pressure. The SSV can be used as a manual or remotely actuated isolating valve.
Excess-Flow Shutdown Valve (EFS) Activated by the differential pressure ‘Pu - Pd’ to close when the flow through the valve reaches the excess-flow set-point. The valve can be operated as an automatic or manual isolating valve by utilising a directional valve to charge/discharge the actuating chamber.
