Measuring the height of an object travelling along a conveyor can be tricky as the height of the conveyor can vary.  The Poscon OXH7 has solved this problem by using "delta height".  This is a measurement using the conveyor as the datum point and measuring it to the height of the object.  In this way, the actual height of the object is always accurate.
