What is Pallet Live?
Needing to maintain a constant stock rotation of your pallets? Then Pallet Flow Racking is for you. Pallet flow racking or Pallet live racking, is a FIFO (first in first out) system. Where you feed pallets into the racking system from the back and pick them from the front. This ensures stock rotation since all pallets are fed and can be stored in the order of production.

Gravity Fed Pallet Racking
Furthermore this system wont require any power, it’s a gravity operated system, which also means there is little upkeep or running costs. We will design the system on a declined angle, so the pallets rolls ‘back to front’ downhill. In addition, each lane has speed reduction mechanisms which will limit the risk of the pallet travelling too fast. As well as supply front pallet separators to isolate the front pallet from the remaining pallets behind it.

Bulk Storage
Reduced operations and labour are another key benefit of the pallet flow system. Since you are feeding into the system from the back end (your production end), picking from the front end (despatch end), you have minimal operational time on the forklift. As well as reduced labour of staff. Also, pallets are stored in designated lanes, which means each lane can be dedicated for a different product if need be. • ‘3 wheel track’ where each lane has 3 runs of nylon wheels, in a staggered formation. This requires that you use Australian Standard pallets, but is a great option to reduce bounce.
• Down each lane we incorporate ‘speed controllers’ to prevent the pallet from picking up speed and reducing the possibility of damage. This is engineered based off your pallet weight, the temperature in your warehouse and the amount of pallet locations.
• Pallet flow racking can be adjusted to suit many pallet weights, but works best with standard Australian pallets, simply to reduce the amount of variation.
• You can decided the layout and design of the racking system with how many pallets deep, how many pallets wide and how many pallets high. This give the flexibility to adjust the system based off your production and storage needs.
