IPD is a privately owned Australian company with a national footprint servicing the electrical industry. We have been providing quality global brands such as GE, Hensel, Socomec, DEHN and Elsteel into the Australian market for over 60 years. We are proud to employ over 160 professional people in areas such as engineering, sales & logistics.

We have an innovative and extensive range of products. The range consists of power distribution, power protection, control, energy management and renewables. We have extended our product portfolio by acquiring P.J white, a lamp sourcing business and Hivotech, a supplier & manufacturer of LV & HV test equipment for rail and utility asset maintenance.

During 2017, IPD acquired Central test, a NATA Accredited High Voltage testing and calibration business and in 2018, IPD acquired another testing business called Trio Test and Measurement. Both of these acquisitions complement our range of product and service offerings with an array of test solutions offered by the company and that increases the group's capabilities in product and services to our customer base.

Key customers include Switchboard manufacturers, OEMs, wholesalers, contractors & utilities. If you have an industrial electrical product requirement we will be able to fulfil them.

IPD has an extensive technical sales network of more than 70 employees nationally, backed by a national customer service centre. We provide added value to our customers through in-house design, estimating and local manufacturing. These services are further supported by a flexible in-house and on-site training program to better utilise our products.
