Flat Bottomed Commercial Silo 2
Flat Bottomed Commercial Silo 2
Allied Grain Systems in conjunction with MFS York or offers a variety of roof styles depending upon your application and bin specifications.
Galvanised roof panels are standard on all Allied Grain Systems bins.
Bins of 60 feet or less have clear span roof panels, while the roofs on our 75 to 90 foot bins use a compression ring for enhanced stability and reliability. Roof panels are sealed tightly with bolted connections to protect the contents of the bin.
Super deep roof ribs varied in depth according to the size of the bin ensure strength and structural integrity. All seams are fully double overlapped for added strength. Put it all together and you have a roof structure that can carry concentrated peak loads of up to 9,000 pounds.
In other words, our roofs can easily support conveyors, spouting and other ancillary equipment without worry.
Roof Assemblies
The roof assemblies in our largest bins employ a middle compression ring to ensure strength and structural integrity as well as to handle greater concentrated peak loads. All roof assemblies require proper ventilation.
MFS York storage systems are used around the world for corn, beans, rice, wheat and other special commodities
