The Dytran 3078A Model is a HUMS Airborne IEPE Accelerometer.

Firstly, it is hermetically sealed for high humidity and dirty environments. It also contains case isolation to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.

Secondly, it has sensitivity of 10 mV/g, frequency response of 0.7 to 5,000Hz and weighs 20 grams. The main feature of this model is the integral mounting bracket design. It provides improved sensor performance whilst eliminating costs associated with separate mounting brackets. It is mounted within the bracket at the point where the cable and bracket are joined. This provides a reduced mass.
