Alexander Colquhoun & Son which is the parent company of all of the Colquhoun's group of companies was founded in Granville, N.S.W. in 1888. Colquhoun's has remained a family owned and operated company since then.

Colquhoun's trade in all states, and have office / factory outlets in Sydney (head office), Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane and Toowoomba. We have plans to open a Melbourne branch in the foreseeable future.

Colquhoun's are major importers of Jute / Hessian bags and cloth, Woven Polypropylene bags and cloth, Calico bags and cloth, Leno weave Onion Nets, Bulk bags, Woolpacks and Sandbags.We can offer production and printing of the bags from our overseas suppliers, delivered to you in full container loads. Through to Australian made bags, printed here by us, in any of our branches. We source our imported products from a range of countries including, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, China, Malaysia, Bangladesh and India depending on customer requirements. And under our ISO - 9002 obligations, we visit our suppliers and their factories on a regular basis.
