Vermeer Australia is part of Vermeer Corporation’s worldwide dealer network, a manufacturer established in Pella, Iowa, in 1948, of high-quality construction, surface mining, agricultural and environmental equipment.

As part of the RDO Australia Group, we have over 700 employees across 29 Australian dealership locations, and an extensive range of premium equipment and after-sales support to service the agricultural, civil, construction, utility, mining, forestry, and natural resource management industries.

Vermeer Australia began as Vermeer Sales & Service Pty Ltd in 1989, as the sole authorised dealer for the products of Vermeer Corporation in Eastern Australia and the South Pacific region. During the more than 30 years since its establishment, the Vermeer Australia has partnered with some of Australia’s largest contractors in the delivery of significant infrastructure projects, supported contractors, municipalities and utilities in the installation, maintenance and renewal of their assets.

In 2015, Vermeer Australia became part of the RDO Australia Group, a subsidiary of North Dakota-based RDO Equipment. Globally, RDO Equipment is the world’s largest John Deere dealer group, with presence in Africa, Australia, Mexico, Russia and Ukraine. Today, RDO Australia Group comprises three dealer brands; RDO Equipment Australia (John Deere Construction & Forestry), Vanderfield (John Deere Ag & Turf, Hino Trucks), and Vermeer Australia (Vermeer Industrial products).
