The Civil Division of SBT Engineering builds Reinforced Concrete Silos from 2,000 tonne to 30,000 tonne capacity. We employ a “Jump Form” System in building silos which is the only available commercial building system of its type employed in Australia.

It has obvious advantages over other construction methods and delivers quality and structural integrity along with other benefits that other construction methods simply cannot provide.

We also manufacture Mild and Stainless Steel Silos, Coal Handling Bunkers with polished stainless steel liners, etc. In fact, if you want to store any product that can be stored when we can offer an economical solution to meet your requirements.

Major installations to date include Cement Plants in Australia and overseas, Power Stations, Plasterboard, Sugar, Grains, Fertilisers, Coal, Aggregates, and Plastics etc for many of Australia’s leading Companies.

Mechanical handling equipment including all types of Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, Air Slides and other systems to fill and unload product from storage can also be manufactured through other divisions of The Davey Group, allowing our clients the confidence of dealing with just one supplier for the full installation.

A complete service from loading, storing, unloading etc is often required from our clients and it would be very rare if we could not provide a commercial and economic solution to suit our client’s requirements and budget.
