Following discussions with manufacturers in Europe and the USA who sought an experienced sales and marketing partner to represent their interests in Australia, the name PT Link was first registered in 1998.

The company founder Ron Warman, with many years experience at senior management level working for international manufacturers and national distributors, formed the opinion that there were still good opportunities in Australia for niche products if well supported in the areas of technical expertise and sound after sales service.
