Mixquip Side Entry Agitator for Diary ...
It incorporates state of the art technology in agitator design and construction using super duplex stainless steel alloy, resulting in improved efficiency, greater reduction in power consumption and lower shear. The MSE series 105 achieves as much as 65% greater blending capacity than traditional direct drive units.
Designed to direct liquid in an axial flow, away from the tank wall, resulting in a uniform turnover of the tank contents. The Mixquip Water flush seal is used in applications where there is risk of no liquid to lubricate the
faces of the mechanical seal during operation.
This is typical in applications where the tank liquid level falls below the agitator shaft centreline, but contents still require mixing. Adding a closed circuit Mixquip Water flush seal uses a double mechanical seals and a water recirculation loop via a small reservoir mounted on the side of the mixer (as shown below). Convection induced flow moves water
from the reservoir to the seal face and back to the reservoir, lubricating the seal face at the same time. A simple electrical interface ensures that there is liquid in the reservoir before the agitator will run. No more dry running
seal worries.
