Our pastel colour acrylic sheets are high grade cast acrylic. They have a gloss finish on one side and matte finish on the other, allowing you to choose your finish.
Protective masking
Each side of the pastel acrylic sheet is coated in a paper film. This protective layer offers protection during transport and storage. For best results with your acrylic ensure that it is stored lying flat to avoid warpage and remove plastic film before etching.
Why use cast acrylic?
Cast acrylic material provides a high thickness consistency and is easy to fabricate. It also offers less chance of warping or shrinkage when compared to extruded acrylic. Cast acrylic will cut easily without meting edges and can be polished to a high lustre after cutting.
Technical Info
Thickness is subject to tolerance +/- 10%
Sheet size is subject to cutting tolerance +/- 5mm
Material sheets are available in various sheet sizes and finishes
Shipping is generally more economical in smaller sized sheets, up to 22kg in weight. To calculate approximate acrylic sheet weight use the following formula:
Weight(kg = Width(m)*Length(m)*Thickness(mm)*1.19
For example the following is the weight estimate per sheet:
