Halytech Remote Input Module, RIM, is an input expansion module for the Spider.  It is ideal for utility meter monitoring in residential, commercial and industrial applications.

The RIM

• connects to 16 pulse meters with tamper detection or 32 without
• monitors pulse devices such as water, gas and electricity meters.
• connects to a Spider via a RS-485 bus
• has battery backup in the case of power failure

A single Spider can connect to 10 RIM modules to monitor up to 320 inputs.
