The Gorman-Rupp 80 Series® mild-solids handling, self-priming centrifugal pumps are designed for use with non-stop work loads. With multi-vane impellers and a “straight-in” suction design, these high efficiency pumps prime quickly and can operate at higher suction levels than many other self-priming centrifugal pumps.

• A high and dry position minimizes the risk of damage to underground cable in wet well
• The annual cost savings of capital versus a wet well/dry well
• Affordable and low-cost ownership
• Greatly reduced OH&S issues
• Fast, easy-access points for monitoring or service.

80 Series – SPECIAL FEATURES

• Straight-In Suction Design

The exclusive 80 Series pump design allows the pumps to operate at higher suction lifts than most other self-priming centrifugal pumps.

• Multiple Seal Options

80 Series pumps are available with various options (grease and oil, single seal and double seal, self-lubricated designs), depending on the application.

• High Efficiency Impeller

The multi-vane open impeller is designed to handle up to 2 3/8" (60 mm) solids, depending on pump model.

• Drive Variations

Basic models of pumps in the 80 series can run directly off a customer's power source, while more advanced units can be flex-coupled, close-coupled, or driven by an electric motor. Pumps can also be powered by gasoline or diesel engines.
