RIS Strongrail Overhead System

The RIS Strongrail Overhead system is a unique bilateral product that provides an unprecedented level of safety by significantly reducing the risks associated with pendulum effect.

The system is also ideal for low clearance areas and obstructed areas.

The RIS Strongrail system has been designed to minimze the visual impact of the structure it is installed on and maximise the ability of multiple users to operate and work from the one system.

The RIS Strongrail system has multiple application benefits and has been  independently tested by a NATA accredited laboratory to comply with all requirements of AS/NZS 1891.

Fall Arrest 

The RIS Strongrail is tested to 15kn for a single user and additional 6kn for each user therafter upto a maximum of 3 users per span 27kn total load.

Suspended Access

The RIS Strongrail has been engineered for use by rope access professionals and when the RIS Strongrail system is installed for rope access applications the system is rigid and allows the rope access technician a level rail to work on.

Restrained Access

The RIS Strongrail system can also be used for restrained access applications with the use of a fixed length lanyard and designated set back distances from fall zones.

The rigidity of the system does not allow the user any opportunity to misuse the system and enter into a fall zone situation.
