Construction of Pacific Hoseflex Encapsulated PTFE Hose:

Smooth or convoluted PTFE liner passes through the fitting and flares over the face, creating a mating surface that can then be installed without a gasket. Since the flow path is completely smooth, there can't be any build-up between inner core and fitting.

Stainless Steel outer wire braid, helically wound tube (translucent in appearance). Properties of Pacific Hoseflex Encapsulated PTFE Hose:

The hose is virtually resistant to all chemicals, except molten alkali metals or halogens at elevated temperatures. It is non-stick and easy to clean with a temperature range of -70º C to +260º C. The mechanical resistance for vibrations and flexing is excellent. The product is chemically inert, non ageing and has an extremely high UV resistance. The low co-efficiency of friction ensures low pressure drop. It is non-flammable and FDA approved for food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications.
