EMT commenced operations as Electric Motor & Transmission Pty Ltd in Sydney, Australia in 1990.

EMT has grown to become a specialist in the sales, maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment of rotating AC and DC motors and ancillary equipment, 1-phase and 3-phase electric motors, with a vast distribution network covering both Australia and New Zealand.

In recent years our product range has expanded to also include variable frequency drives, electro-magnetic disc brakes, pumps and pumping equipment, geared motors, high voltage motors and various types of engineered fabricated products.
