Lock Features

The HT28 Smart contains a multi-technology reader with full interoperability. This allows you to transition your property from magnetic stripe to smart cards at any time.

• Stand alone installation (no wires required)
• Fits all types of doors
• Unlimited masterkeying potential
• Programmable for length of time door remains unlocked and automatic relocking
• Deadbolt operates by a thumbturn inside the room for added guest privacy and security ("Do-Not-Disturb" Function)
• Multi-technology reader using either ISO/ABA mag-stripe card, memory-chip card, microprocessor smart card and any combination of the three
• Non-volatile memory: records last 500 openings including date, time and card user
• Powered by 4 standard AA batteries
• Programmable to customers needs ("Office mode" free passage, etc.)
• The LEDs light to give lock status including a low battery warning
• Lock ensures accuracy by reading the card twice -- once during insertion and once during removal
• Compatible with all of Onity's front-desk systems: HT28 Smart, HT24w, HT22
