The LEDMLD marker light is an advanced instrument that have been designed and manufactured to stringent specifications. The LEDMLD is a Led array suitable for harsh and long life. It has been designed to reject electrical interference that normally abounds in industrial environments and includes flying lead electrical connection.

DISPLAY

An array of 120 high contrast light emitting diodes (LED) with a light emission angle of 15 degrees for each LED arranged as 60 red and 60 white. This is to give a red and white marker light in the one enclosure. The LEDs are arranged in 16 independent circuits so the loss of one led will not stop the light from functioning. The light intensity has been set for a minimum of 100 Candela and this brightness is constant over the 24 to 80VDC supply range.

CONNECTION DETAILS

• Terminal 1: 24VDC to 80VDC active supply for the red LEDs (flying lead marked with red heat shrink)
• Terminal 2: 0VDC supply (flying lead unmarked)
• Terminal 3: 24VDC 80VDC active supply for the white LEDs (flying lead marked with white heat shrink)
• Terminal 4:Ground supply (6mm brass earth stud)

POWER SUPPLY

• 24VDC (20-75VDC). Other voltages on request
• Current consumption is 50mA @ 24VDC
• The power supply to the light is protected by a power conditioning circuit and other componentry to ensure compliancy with EN50121
• Reverse polarity protection (reverse connection will not cause any damage to the light)

Panel mounting black anodised aluminium enclosure of case dimensions 180mm diameter flange by 40mm deep, a body diameter of 134mm (panel cut out) with fixing centres of 163mm wide by 163mm high using an 8mm hole.
