Norm Dixon began designing and producing fusion equipment for the local gas reticulation industry to weld small diameter polyethylene pipe (PE) in 1973.

Almost 50 years later, Dixon Industries Pty Ltd remains focused on the design and manufacture of butt fusion equipment at our plant in South Australia. Sold under the FUSIONMASTER trademark, Dixon manufactured equipment has achieved a reputation for excellence of engineering, ease of use, and the ability to survive in the toughest of Australian conditions. Many of the original machines are still operating in the field.
