Concrete Joints | TripStop 75mm
The TripStop 75mm concrete joint was the first TripStop profile created and successfully tested under laboratory conditions.
The 75mm profile is extremely beneficial for older 75mm thick paths. Currently most new paths are 100mm or 125mm thick. The light construction of 75mm concrete paths often means that they are more susceptible to cracking and soil displacement problems.
The concrete is also able to heat up and cool down faster than thicker concrete slabs, due to the smaller mass; meaning that the likelihood of movement is much greater. Installation of the TripStop 75mm joint will solve the safety issues involved with 75mm concrete footpaths.
