Bradford Fireseal Curtain wall batts act as a fire barrier, retarding the progress of fire, smoke and heat between floors of multi-storey buildings. Bradford Fireseal Curtain wall batts are tested to must AS1530.4 and can be tailored to meet BCA requirements for volume 1 Clause C2.6; any gaps behind a curtain wall must be packed with non-combustible material that will withstand thermal expansion and structural movement, without loss of seal against fire and smoke.

The product has remarkable resistance to shrinkage at temperatures encountered in fire conditions. This stability is well beyond that of normal rockwool or fibreglass materials. The product can be identified by its dark brown appearance.
