Saphymo AlphaE Radon Exposimeter is a professional meter for Radon concentration, personal exposure and dose measurement. The AlphaE is an electronic handheld device for fast and time-resolved radon monitoring. Due to its ultra-lightweight design and sophisticated features the AlphaE is highly suitable for all types of Radon Gas surveying. This sophisticated light weight NORM monitor is based on a silicon diode diffusion chamber with a sensitivity of 3 cph at 100 Bq/m³. Thus, low radon levels below 100 Bq/m³ can be measured as specified by the latest WHO recommendations. With up to 6 months battery life, this device allows for long-term measurement without connection to mains. The AlphaE stores all measurement data in the internal flash storage. This instrument is the perfect solution to NORM monitoring applications for Thorium and uranium as their decay product is radium and its decay product radon.

The AlphaE Radon Gas Dosimeter is a continuous radon monitor for fast and time-resolved radon monitoring in buildings, outdoor as well as in mines. This instrument was developed in collaboration between Saphymo GmbH and the Helmholtz Center, Munich. Extensive measurements and site-tests performed by the Helmholtz Center as well as by key users have proven the validity of calibration and correct operation. The AlphaE’s outstanding price and performance ratio also makes it interesting for service companies active in radon assessment as well as for users in private homes. The instrument is supplied with a certificate of calibration, user manual and a 12 month warranty.
