AM Compressors was formed in the late 1980s by Alan Dunn and Peter Smith with the intention of offering quality service and technical support to a market that was being under supported. With over 80 years of experience between them and having worked with major manufacturers, AM Compressors quickly became recognised as a service company who would support Industry.

In the late 1990s a need was identified not to only support industry with service but to offer new energy efficient systems. Once this was identified AM Compressors investigated and sourced a range of European built equipment using the highest standards of components and built to operate in the most arduous of Australian conditions.

From the early 1990s AM Compressors's growth has remained constant listening and adapting to customers' continually changing requirements. Unlike multinational organisations, AM Compressors has focused on customer care and has developed relationships with service orientated companies in all states and territories allowing for National and International organisations to be serviced. AM Compressors takes pride in offering these services and tailoring the service equipment to specific requirements.
