Make Timber Floors Shine Again at Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club
Freshwater is a stunning beach just north of Manly and a short ferry ride from Sydney’s Circular Quay. Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club has been patrolling this beach and keeping it safe since the club was founded in December 1908.
The timber floors at the Surf Life Saving Club were in need of some attention to make them shine again.
After sanding and cleaning the timber floor the flooring contractor chose Urethane Coatings Monothane HS50 GLOSS to make the floor shine again.
So for a High Gloss Finish use Monothane HS50 GLOSS a single pack polyurethane that protects your timber and maintains the natural characteristics of the wood.
Freshwater’s claim to fame is this is where surfing was popularised in Australia by Hawaiian 'Duke' Kahanamoku. Duke famously carved a board from a piece of local timber and demonstrated immense surfing skills at the beach to an enthralled crowd on 15 January 1915. This board is on display in Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club Heritage Room.
