SatVUE-Link Point to Multipoint Automation ...
The SatVUE-LINK Point to Multipoint Automation solution has been designed to effortlessly interconnect multiple monitoring locations with one central access point.
With the ability to integrate with a wide-range of sensors, the SatVUE-Link
solution combines long-range wireless radio (LinkVUE) and satellite communications (SatVUE) to reliably transmit your crucial data from multiple monitoring locations.
Being that wireless radio telemetry is a zero-cost method of transmitting data, the only ongoing cost is a single satellite connection fee - regardless of how many sites you are monitoring!
How it Works
LinkVUE Long-Range Wireless Radio
At each monitoring location, simply connect your analog / digital / SDI-12 / MODBUS compatible sensor (water level, rainfall, temperature et al.) to the LinkVUE end-point.
Because any LinkVUE module can be configured as either a hub, relay or end-point device, a LinkVUE networking system is fully configurable depending on your requirements.
A system could be as simple as utilising 1 x SatVUE-Link and 1 x end-point, for single site monitoring applications, or it could comprise of 1 x SatVUE-Link hub along with a combination of up to 50 end-points or repeaters for multi-site, multi-parameter monitoring.
SatVUE Satellite Telemetry
Data from each LinkVUE end-point is sent to the SatVUE-Link. The data is then sent to the SatVUE Portal (via Inmarsat’s IsatData Pro Satellite Communications Network) at a pre-determined interval or a specific time.
Remote Web Portal
From only 50 cents per day, crucial data is then accessed remotely through the SatVUE web portal.
This portal also allows you to make manual changes to sampling and logging intervals and perform calculations on your data.
It also provides the ability to setup crucial alerts when certain thresholds are reached.
Example Application
The included illustration shows data being transmitted from multiple LinkVUE End-points through the LinkVUE hub/SatVUE to the web portal for end user access. In this example, each of the 5 x LinkVUEs are monitoring different parameters at various locations.
