QwikShelter is a lightweight portable air inflated workstation. It is constructed of industrial grade vinyl coated nylon fabric which is treated to be both UV and flame resistant. The shelter is inflated by a heavy duty fan which operates on normal household current, truck battery, generator of petrol.
QwikShelter is designed to operate in all weather conditions providing the technician a dry, clean, and well-illuminated environment. Because it is portable, it allows the technician to move his controlled environment from worksite to worksite. When properly secured, Qwik Shelter can withstand winds of 42km/h.
Why an INFLATABLE shelter?
An inflatable is compact, simple and is erected in minutes by the push of a button. By using air for support, set up time is rapid and there is no need for cumbersome poles or damaging ground stakes. Pack up time is also quick. An experienced technician can set up a Qwik shelter is less than five minutes. Actual inflation time for the QS3000 is under one minute. Pack up takes about ten minutes.
Qwik Shelter is offered in 3 models
QS 3000: Our smallest model. The QS3000 is perfect to get the sun off your shoulders and protect you and your work from a quick shower. It will also keep your vehicle cool and dry. The QS3000 is 3m wide by 3m long and 2.6m high. It weighs only 22kg with an internal blower. Doors are not included with this unit, but can be an added option.
QS 6000: Our standard Model QS6000 Qwik Shelter is an inflatable shelter or portable workstation that will meet most needs. One car plus two workers fit comfortably inside. You can also fit part of a car in from both ends because each end has a functional door.
Inside dimensions are 3m wide by 6m – long by 2.60-m tall .
Each end has a removable fabric door. These can be left open, closed and zippered shut, or removed entirely. Dimension is .6m x.6m lx .7m & weighs 35kg. The blower weighs 8kg.
Included with the shelter is a 900w inflation fan, 8 tie down straps, 2 vehicle parking pads, pack up bag, repair kit, instructions, and a one year warranty.
QS 7000: This unit is modular in design and able to meet the requirements for temporary multipurpose mobile space. Predominantly used by the military, emergency response services, film industry and general field services it offers a wide range of uses. Common uses are Field canteens and mess halls, briefing and assembly areas, packing and storage space, Field hospitals and triage centers as well as controlled environment assembly areas. Module size is 7m wide x 3.5m high x 6m long
