A-SAFE has enjoyed an ongoing partnership with Toyota for many years, with the company calling on us to focus on implementing safety solutions for a variety of installations.
SITUATION
In a high-traffic manufacturing operation, Toyota needed to safeguard personnel from the diverse range of industrial vehicles in operation. Specifically, the automotive manufacturer required protection to segregate people travelling on foot through the car park and heavy traffic vehicle working zones. Safe access points were therefore also paramount for a truly protected facility.
SOLUTION
A-SAFE manufactured, supplied and installed two solutions to ensure the facility and its people were protected against dangerous vehicle collisions. Pedestrian 3 Rail Barrier was installed in several locations throughout the site to defend, segregate and define pedestrian walkways and improve the overall aesthetic of the facility, supported with Swing Gates to ensure safe access points for personnel.
Manufactured using Memaplex™, Our iFlex barriers are purpose engineered to provide industry leading workplace protection. On impact, iFlex barriers absorb kinetic energy, dissipating it through the barriers to minimise damage to the floor, before flexing back to their original shape.
