OKTOPUS | Vacuum Lifting Device | GLASS-Jack GL-CC 1200 DES

The vacuum based load lifting attachment OKTOPUS® GLASS-Jack GL-CC 1200 DES is designed to handle glass panes and window elements at construction sites and with a maximum weight of 1200 kg. It is equipped with a crane adapter to be mounted to a mini crane (provided by the customer). Alternatively the device can be attached to a counterbalanced truck / variable reach forklift by using the fork truck adapter. The suction frame can be tilted hydraulically by 120° and can be endlessly (360°) rotated motor driven as well as swiveled by ±40°. All functions are operated with the help of a radio remote control. A 24 V DC operated vacuum pump generates the necessary negative pressure in the suction pads. Deviations from the nominal condition are indicated by optical and acoustical warning equipment. Even in the case of complete failure of energy supply, vacuum remains for at least 5 minutes in each suction pad. In that way secure lowering of the load is ensured.
