All valid standards (IEC 567 / ASTM 3612) dedicate a chapter to the proper oil sampling for the determination of gas content and other parameters in transformer oil. The aim of proper sampling is to ensure that the results of the dissolved gas analysis are not distorted by contamination with ambient air or dirt particles.

• The sampling syringes (100 ml – fully made of glass) are gas-tight and equipped with a special valve.
• Together with a flexible PFT tube, the syringes can be directly connected to the oil-sampling flange of the transformer.
• The valve allows the rinsing of the syringe with any amount of oil while measuring the exact oil temperature, simply by opening and closing the valve.
• Thereafter, the syringe can be filled with the oil sample
• Your sample does not get contaminated with ambient air or dirt!
• This guarantees a reliable and exact dissolved gas analysis providing a basis for a solid decision for the further treatment of your transformer.
