Our range of metal clad wire wound resistors also known as aluminium housed resistors are available in power ratings ranging from 5 watts to 250 watts. Their small physical size, rugged construction and high stability make them ideal for many applications including:

• Braking resistors
• Audio Amplifiers

A non-inductive version of these resistors is available making them suitable for radio frequency applications. Note: All the above ratings are based on mounting on an appropriate heat sink.
