Operation Sequence

• Lowering the Platform: After a trailer is positioned and the dock door is raised, the operator steps on the release pedal and gently pushes the deck forward, allowing it to descend into the trailer until the lip rests securely on the trailer bed.
• During Operation: The security latch engages the spring counterbalance mechanism when the bridge is in the operating range, keeping the bridge downward-biased and ensuring safe loading/unloading.
• Storing the Dock: After use, the dock worker pivots the handle and raises the deck to its locked and stored position, requiring only about 17 kg of lifting force.
