This is how the Pellermix Grinding Cement Slurry Dewatering System works: 

1. The cement slurry is placed in an agitated vessel. This ensure the slurry is homogenized when being pumped into the press and prevents blockages due to cement slurry settling in the bottom of the tank. 

2. The slurry is then pumped into the filter press. The filter press catches the cement particles and forms a wet cement particle cake inside the filter press. 

3. The clean water passes through the filter cloth and then flows into the filtrate storage tank. The Water is checked and if it is clean it can be discharged as standard waste water and the threat of drain blockage is eliminated.  

4. Once the filter press chambers are full of concrete particle cake then the press is opened, the filter cakes can be removed and disposed of as solid waste.
