The Power Step Folding Ladder.

In the iron ore mines in WA together with the coal mines of Qld and NSW, the Power Step Folding Ladder System continues to perform.

We have also introduced several product improvements in the past six years to improve the reliability and performance of the product.

We listen to comments from the field and carry out the necessary research to meet the needs of the end-users. At times the introduction of improvements may take longer than we want to, but we all have time constraints and other priorities that override the best intentions.

Nonetheless our continuous product improvement is very real and consistent.

The Folding Ladder Access System is designed to provide full support for the walkways, the ladder, the ladder mechanism and any other ancillary equipment or accessories that the end-user places on top of the walkways. The mounting arrangement for the walkways and ladder is very robust and reliable.

There are two options in the selection of walkways: either a full wrap-around walkway that extends all around the cab (except the front); or the smaller type or standard walkway that extends  along the Left Hand side of the cab and extends (partially) to the rear of the cab.

Both options are available for the large CAT dozers (including D9, D10 and D11).

For the Komatsu models we are in the process of finalising similar designs for the D475 and D375 models.
