Flameproof Power Resistors | PW Series

The PW Series of wire wound power resistors offer a cost effective power resistor available in 20 and 50 watt ratings. The resistance winding is housed in a ceramic casing and offers excellent reliability in high ambient temperature environments. 

Typical Flameproof Resistor Applications:

• Whitegoods
• Dishwashers
• Stoves
• Range hoods
• Circuits requiring wattage dissipitation equal to or less than the resistors rating
• Radio, TV or Industrial applications where a flameproof resitors is essential
• Realiablity is critical at high temperature

We manufacture only the PW20 (20 watt) and PW50 (50 watt) versions of this resistor, however hold stock of 5 watt and 10 watt PW Series Resistors.

The flameproof resistors are available in many variations according to you needs. The resistors are available tapped and have numerous mounting brakets available, affording ease of installation of the resistor assemblies. Termination is by way of standard 6.3mm QC (Quick Connect) terminals.
