Double deep pallet racking can store two pallets deep per aisle face.

Advantages of this design are:

• an increased storage capacity of up to 30% more (compared to Selective pallet racking).
• an excellent cost-saving alternative when each product line has several pallets.
• 50% of stored pallets are immediately accessible on a FILO (First In Last Out) basis.
• an excellent method of increasing storage space when alternative methods such as Drive In Racking are not possible

Higher storage levels can be fitted with either pallet guide rails or wire mesh decking for safety purposes.

This pallet racking design requires a special Double deep capable forklift with either pantograph or sliding fork attachments.
