Boheme is a renowned modern Australian restaurant in Melbourne, often booked out at weekends. Manager Mark felt he needed to upgrade to a new Restaurant POS system that could cope with the hectic pace. They also needed an easy use system that would not let them down, during busy periods.

These large brilliantly lit touch screens were ideal because reliability was very important to such a busy operation. The system also needed to look stylish enough to blend in with the venue’s up-to-the-minute décor.
The large menu is easily handled by the intuitive layout of the screens. POS screen designs and flows had to be intuitive and therefore simple to train staff on.

Completely robust with an embedded system, they could withstand wet hands, spills and the everyday rigors of a busy hospitality venue. Staff could monitor exactly where each customer is up to with their meal and whether they have had their bill.
With the large amount of dishes going out, kitchen printers wirelessly linked to the tills let the chef know instantly what each table wanted. Wait staff were also freed up from walking to and from the kitchen each time.
"We can speed messages direct to the kitchen, eliminating the need for staff to take time out to communicate with the chef."
The screen is virtually the whole POS cash register which is equipped with a low footprint stand. Totally water resistant the cash register is protected from damage by wet hands or water spills.
