AGF Pro:

The AGF Pro is an advanced all polymeric media filter for industry that provides excellent filtration efficiency by trapping the suspended particles through a bed of media in a pressurized tank. The AGF Pro is constructed with special synthetic materials and is corrosion-proof with excellent chemical resistance. The specially designed elliptical tank enables maximum filtration and exceptional cleanability.

The AGF Pro is lightweight and easy to install with no crane required. It offers a superior underdrain system with 55 diffuser nozzles, designed and positioned for optimal flushing efficiency. It has two user-friendly elliptical access ports for easy inspection and media loading / unloading and is equipped with detachable support legs to facilitate compact storage and economical shipping.

 Media Series:

Amiad’s media water filtration systems provide a complete solution for depth filtration requirements. Our filter vessels are high quality corrosion resistant, polyester coated steel tanks.

These versatile high-quality modular media industrial water filters for depth filtration applications are phosphate pre-treated and available in wide range of types and sizes for flexibility and custom designed applications.

Amiad “MEDIA” Filters Models Amiad’s “MEDIA” product-line consists of standard on-the-shelf vessel units and specially designed vessels and systems.
The following is a list of the standard vessels:

• 16”/2” for up to 10 m3 /h (44 US gpm)
• 20”/2” for up to 18 m3 /h (79 US gpm)
• 24”/2” for up to 25 m3 /h (110 US gpm)
• 36”/3” for up to 50 m3 /h (220 US gpm)
• 48”/4” for up to 90 m3 /h (396 US gpm)
• 60”/4” for up to 110 m3 /h (484 US gpm)

How the Sand / Media filters work:

Water enters through the filter inlet and percolates through the filter bed. When suspended matter comes in contact with media particles, it absorbs it. Clean water Then goes via the filtration nozzles through the filter outlet. Cleaning is done by backwashing.

Water is inserted in reverse direction - from the nozzles upwards, causing suspension of the filter bed, thus releasing the suspended matter from the bedding and it is flushed out through a backwash valve. Backwashing may be done automatically according to pressure differential and/or according to time.
