Wastewater Treatment | Circular Dissolved Air Flotation (AeroCIRC DAF)

The AeroCIRC incorporates the patented feature of an effluent actuator on the effluent line, for the hydraulic float removal. It also utilises Aerofloat’s proprietary Air Dissolving System.

The small quantity of fallen solids between cycles are re-floated through the re-circulation stream to the Dissolver/Saturator prior to the introduction of wastewater. This means solids do not accumulate at the bottom of the DAF. The combination of the scraper and the hydraulic lift at the end of the cycle ensures all solids are removed from the DAF. Chain scrapers are not required, and the self-cleaning feature ensures a very attractive product offering.

In 2018, Aerofloat was contracted to design and manufacture a Circular Dissolved Air Flotation system with a more conventional DAF scraper.

The result was a new product offering, showcasing a 60-degree hopper for self-cleaning with a hinged scraper. The AeroCIRC incorporates Aerofloat’s DAF patented features such as an effluent actuator for hydraulic float removal and Aerofloat’s Air Dissolving System.

SIZES/OPTIONS

Aerofloat designs and manufactures the AeroCirc DAF at its Sydney headquarters: this means each unit can be custom designed and built to suit the client’s needs.

The AeroCirc DAF core design can treat flows from 10-250m3/hr.
