The migration is visible through 2 "windows" marked UNSAFE or SAFE. When the pressure temperatue and duration of sterilisation has reached a crtical combination, the blue dye should enter the SAFE window. If it does not, then the critical parameters of the steam sterilization process (time, temperature, and saturated steam) were not present.
