The new WIKA Twin-Temp combined bimetal / resistance thermometers offer two measurement systems in one instrument. A bimetal thermometer displays the measured temperature locally, while the integral Pt100 resistance sensor allows remote measurement, with display or control of the measured variable.

The Twin-Temp is available for temperature ranges from -50 C to 250 C.

The stem and case of the instrument are made from stainless steel, with and ingress protection of IP65. Various insertion lengths and process connections are available to match the process requirements.

The bimetal thermometer may be re-calibrated at any time by using the external zero-point adjustment on the rear of the case.

The 3 wire Pt100 RTD is a Class B device, and the bimetal thermometer is Class 1 Accuracy.

The new device complements the WIKA range of bimetal and gas-filled thermometers, RTD's, thermocouples and thermowells, allowing a complete range of temperature measurement solutions.
