This course has been designed specifically for members of a "Safety Team" and for persons requiring an increased awareness in general WHS, Risk Assessment and Common Hazards in the Work Place.

This training is designed especially to assist:
Managers with a genuine concern for the safety of their employees
The person who has the role of Safety Supervisor and/or Safety Team Member
Anyone who holds a position of responsibility in OHS
Everyone in the workplace
Practical examples and workshopping covering applications of OHS that are applicable to your workplace will be included in the course.
Expected Outcomes
A participant who completes the session will have a basic understanding of:
NSW WHS Acts & Regulations - Workplace Health and Safety
WHS Consultation Principles as required under the Act in NSW – The role of Consultation
Risk Management Principles & Processes, especially focusing on your workplace – Effective WHS Consultation
Common Hazards in the Work Place – Systematic Management of Health and Safety
Record keeping requirements for WHS in NSW
Managing & Evaluating WHS processes - including continual improvement processes
At the end of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, if they have satisfactorily completed the course including the written assessment section and feedback response form.
