Now available from Control Logic is the IS1+ by STAHL, which improves on the leading I/O IS1 platform for explosive atmospheres worldwide. Utilising improved technology the IS1+ has created a new standard for “Future Remote I/O”.

Suitable for use in Zone 1 or 2, the interface can be used directly to intrinsic areas and is intrinsically safe with standards including Ex ia IIC, Ex e, Ex nA or Ex nL inputs and outputs. In addition both temperature and life rating have been increased further to enhance reliability and safety.

Modern communications methods, interfaces and protocols have been adopted where high availability redundant communications on both copper and fibre have been brought to market utilising ProfiNet, ProfiBus, FF HSE and more.

A wide range of IO types and interfaces, the platform is complemented with a huge range and local Australian construction services where the IS1+ IO can be built into a field enclosure and certified to suit all areas.
