There are standard 76mm and 102mm sizes for use with metal drums, and wider 152mm for safer use on metal, plastic or fibre drums.

Silicone heater bands have built in adjustable thermostats and can be used where precise temperature regulation is not required.  

SBH Solutions offers not only bands for 205 litre metal drums, but also for 205 litre PLASTIC drums, as well as for 20 and 50 litre plastic or metal drums / pails (subject to circumference).

• Wider bands available especially for use with any metal, plastic or fibre drums on 20, 60 and 205 litre sizes allows for more surface area to be heated more gently.
• No exposed thermocouples or wires mean less opportunity for damage in use.
• Thermostat variable 10°C – 210°C (for metal) or 10°C – 70°C (for plastic).
• Electrical and thermostat protective enclosures are made from high strength silicone rubber for greater wear resistance.
• Mounting springs feature finger grip loop to assist with tightening; wider bands have 2 mountings springs to better hold band to side of the drum.
• All bands come with a 2m grounded electrical cord with Australian plug.
