The 55LQ3 is a rugged 100W DC/DC Power Converter. It is designed for 3U cPCI systems and is fully compliant with the PICMG 2.11, 47 position connector pin-out. It is a true Single Slot Solution (0.8” pitch) which fits in a standard 3U cPCI or VPX rack.
Designed to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-461E and Input Transient Protection as per MIL-STD-704, the 55LQ3 is a high power density, low profile, 28VIN DC/DC low-noise switch mode converter. The 55LQ3 is a Wedge-lock Cooled, Plug-In design and is ideally suited for cPCI airborne, shipboard and ground applications.
DC input is 16 to 36 VDC; 80 VDC maximum with no damage while available DC output power is limited to 100 Watts total. A number of configurations are available, with a variety of testing options. Features include Power Fail Warn (PFW) signal, Enable signal, Short Circuit Protection, Over Voltage Protection and Remote Error Sensing on +5VDC, +3.3VDC and +12VDC outputs
