• The RP500 proximity reader’s ability to interface with a wide range of electronic access control systems including Wiegand and magnetic stripe communication protocols makes it suitable for a wide range of security and safety applications in commercial and industrial situations
• The RP500's compact design allows it to be mounted on doors, entrance gates and boom gates for effective management of pedestrian or vehicular access.

• The RP500’s electronics are sealed in epoxy providing maximum protection
• The reader delivers high performance, non-contact read ranges up to 200 mm
• RPSC1 clamshell proximity card is suited to situations where no direct physical contact is required between card and reader
• RPSK1 keyring tag can be attached to a key ring however due to its small size its read range is reduced
• RFID devices can also be fitted inside silicon wrist bands allowing hands-free access which is especially useful in locations such as clean rooms or food preparation areas.
